Sixx Desjardins

Sixx Desjardins is a Puerto Rican-American screenwriter, producer, and composer, born and bred in the South Bronx, New York City. He is a prime example of a "Nuyorican," with mediocre Spanish-speaking skills, but who writes witty dialogue that is skillfully and masterfully delivered in drama, comedy, and satire. His writing style is distinctive since he is well known for his unconventional sequences of events in his stories. His short film "Vilified Banker" was written, scored, and directed by him in 2017. It had its premiere in 2018 in Harlem, New York, during the Hip Hop Film Festival. In 2020, he was named the lead writer and executive producer of the feature film "Cali Dreams." With numerous pilot and feature projects in the works that support his aspiration to work as a show-runner, this serves as motivational fuel that spurs him on.
