Ray Magliozzi

Ray Magliozzi, along with his late brother, Tom, hosted Car Talk on NPR. The show featured the brothers joking with callers while - eventually - answering their questions about cars and car repair. Tom and Ray, both graduates of MIT, opened the do-it-yourself Good News Garage in their home town of Cambridge, Massachusetts in the 1970s. They were invited to public radio station WBUR to be guests on call in show, and Car Talk grew out of that to be a smash hit for the network, topping the for decades. It is still distributed widely on podcasts by NPR.
