Her personal encounter with breast cancer sparked a transformative journey, leading her to create the Cannabis Nurse Navigator in 2016. This insightful initiative empowers patients to navigate their healthcare choices using Cannabinoid therapeutics within the context of Western Medicine.
Dr. Nique fearlessly addresses stigma and bias within the medical system as a psychiatric nurse, championing a more empathetic and informed approach to patient care. Her dedication extends to the role of a Research Nurse at the esteemed Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center, where she conducts human studies on THC and CBD under the guidance of Dr. Godfrey Pearlson.
