Mr. Exchange

Exchange is a rapper/lyricist from Harlem, NY, but was given the name Exchange from his time spent in Detroit. He was known in the streets from his hustle and his trading or exchanging skills. He found comfort in his lyrics shortly after his Mother became incarcerated. Although he was an only child, he never felt alone when he listened to his favorite artists such as DMX, Kanye West and Common. Exchange found comfort in their lyrics which inspired him to write his own. All of his childhood experiences became the stories in his lyrics and he uses his pain as motivation on the stage.
