As his diverse list of credits attests, Michael Villar has always been drawn to the unconventional, showing depth and range in every role he plays. Villar was born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to his mother Susan McMillen Villar and his father,
Spanish native, Luis Alberto Villar. His talents with situational improv landed him the role of Grumpy, in contemporary artist Paul McCarthy's piece "White Snow". A character actor, Villar enjoys playing roles in both drama and comedy.
Michael Villar had two movies in the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. "Carnage Park", directed by Mickey Keating, and "Sleight", directed by J.D. Dillard. His most recent films “Skin” (currently nominated for an Academy Award) and “Amy’s in the Closet” both had an extremely successful film festival run. Currently shooting "The Soviet Sleep Experiment" with Chris Kattan.
