Growing up in Michigan, I knew from a young age that I wanted to be an actor, writer and singer. My love of performing eventually led me to Wayne State University in Detroit where I received my BFA in acting. After graduating, I spent three years acting in Metro Detroit, as well as singing in a teen-idol musical revue at Casino Windsor in Ontario.

In 2004 I moved to New York City to pursue my acting career. I feel very fortunate to have had many unique performance opportunities in NYC. I’ve performed at The Apollo Theater, in several plays, films and TV episodes, and alongside such well-known actors as Helen Hunt, Michael McKean, Michael Shannon, Ann Dowd and Jason Butler Harner, each of whom I appeared with in the Barrow Street Theatre's production of Our Town, directed by David Cromer (the longest running production of Our Town in history).

It was in Our Town that I taught myself to play guitar while backstage, and began writing original music. My songs have an alt-country style that focuses on individuality, hope and having a sense of adventure. In October 2014 I released Far From The End, my debut album of original music. Since then I have released several singles, and have had my songs played on radio stations across the United States, Canada and Europe.

Besides performing, I'm a big fan of classic films, horror movies, comedies and sci-fi; I love visiting Mackinac Island; and I'm always on the lookout for the perfect plate of fish ’n’ chips (which so far exists at The Trident restaurant in Sausalito, CA). And if you’re ever in San Francisco, get the Secret Breakfast ice cream at Humphry Slocombe. You’ll thank me.
