Jamal McLemore

Jamal McLemore’s filmmaking journey has included working in development at Universal Studios, and in feature post production editorial on films including The Hunger Games, August Osage County, Star Wars The Last Jedi, Godzilla, The Revenant, and Avatar the Way of Water. He was also an associate producer on the animated film The Tale of Despereaux. Jamal has won several awards for his work including Best Indie Short, Best Short of the Season, Best First Time Director, and Best Dark Comedy Short. He has written several short stories and screenplays, including the award winning short film Uninsured, which he also directed.
