Francesca is of Italian descent and was raised by her mother Stella and grandfather Michael De Luca. Her London stage debut formally began playing the lead in Romeo and Juliet. While touring in A Midsummer Night's Dream in which she played Titania, Francesca was approached to audition for the upcoming movie Orpheus and Eurydice. She was cast as the sorceress Agleoniki where she starred alongside legendary actor Oliver Reed and filmed in Athens, Greece. Francesca returned to the London stage to perform in the premiere of the play Red Lanterns directed by Sir Timothy Ackroyd. After reading Robert Patrick's Kennedy's Children, Francesca decided to produce the play and hired Paul Jepson to direct. The play had a successful run at the Etcetera Theater where Francesca starred as Carla. Francesca continued to act in leading roles like Lady Macbeth with great directors such as Peter Greenaway, in his abstract production of Macbeth and Graham Fletcher-Cook in the play Out of His Tree. In addition, she starred in plays such as The Legend of Bella Rosa, Intimacy written by Jean-Paul Sartre, The Rich Young Man and As You Like It. She took time off the stage to act in several British feature films including the comedy Heckle and a thriller filmed in Poland before performing in a feature film that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Francesca was soon cast as a lead in the comedy TV show Down & Out alongside Bobby Farrelly's child A.B. Farrelly. A callback for a Francis Ford Coppola movie prevented Francesca from attending her premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016. However, to her delight she was cast in Coppola's new Live cinema production, Distant Vision. Continuing to act in Los Angeles she starred in the drama and film festival darling, Passports. Recently she starred in the psychological thriller Storage which premiered at the 2022 Academy qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival. Storage has gone on to win the Grand Prize at the Silicon Beach Film Festival as well as numerous other festivals. For her role in Storage, Francesca took home the award of Best Ensemble Cast at the Seattle Film Festival.
