Andrea Della Monica

Andrea Della Monica is an Italian writer/director known for Uoldìsnei (2013), James (2020) and Lo spirito giusto (2019). Since he was eighteen, he combined his interest in philosophy with a strong passion for cinema, gaining a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy (Aesthetics) at the University of Naples and working as a writer, assistant director and assistant editor on several commercials, short films and feature films in Italy. In 2010 he moved to London –where he is currently based – to attend the MA Filmmaking at the London Film School. He graduated with his short film UOLDISNEI (2012), which was nominated for Best British short film at the Raindance FF.
