Jef Delman
Story:
A graduate from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Jef Delman's first feature film as Producer-Writer-Director was the off-beat and ghoulish comedy-horror film "Deadtime Stories"—achieved cult status, ultimately earning over ten times its cost in domestic markets alone. Jef also directed drama, special effects horror, and horror-comedy material for indie pioneer Roger Corman's Concorde/New Horizons. "Random Shooting in LA," the next feature film he co-wrote and directed, was an early pioneer in the 'found footage' genre and was explored as part of the curriculum at a City University of New York advanced-writing class taught by the Pulitzer Prize short-listed playwright David Rimmer. Most recently, "Breaking Good," the short documentary he directed about a critical but little-known division of the criminal justice system is currently playing the film festival circuit. Other credits include produced screenplays, writing for TV programs appearing on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Showtime; children's video programming and interactive media; Toyota motorsports videos, corporate videos and DVDs; as well as lyrics for songs appearing in national commercials, movies and songs released on the Walt Disney Records label.
His current film project, 'The Walkers,' will begin shooting Summer 2024.
