Nathan Bergs

Nathan is a young, multi-award winning Canadian writer & filmmaker who finds the most joy in creating characters and stories that others can not only relate to, but most importantly laugh with...or at! He draws inspiration from surrealist artists and filmmakers by including whimsical elements in these narratives to offer an alternate perspective on seemingly simple circumstances.

As a native of a small town in Southwestern Ontario, Nate has grown to appreciate the everyday quirks of life’s little details and strives to create narratives of subjects that others would most often overlook. The satisfaction in his work comes when audiences are able to enjoy the characters or circumstances that they are familiar with, but never knew could support such entertaining stories. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama, Communication, Media & Film (Honours) from The University of Windsor.
