Dr. Daniel King is a Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), the proud Owner of DreamLion Anesthesia, and a distinguished professor at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. Committed to his research interests, Dr. King has presented nationally and published scholarly works exploring the implications of cannabis for patients undergoing anesthesia, as well as the social stigmatization of cannabis in healthcare. His illustrious career in anesthesiology includes numerous elected and appointed leadership positions, and he previously served as Chief Nurse Anesthetist for Steward Medical Group. Currently, Dr. King serves as the Chair of Professional Practice at the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology while also holding the esteemed title of Certified Professional in Patient Safety.
