Chris Curry is the founder, President/CEO of So You Want To Be A Star, Inc. which provides singing classes and artist development workshops. A former student, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr; is the 2011 grand prize winner of NBC-TV’s “America’s Got Talent”. Chris Curry has performed with recording stars “Ray, Goodman & Brown / The Moments”, Gene Viale of The James Cleveland Singers, and has produced numerous events for the legendary music icon, Isaac Hayes. He also assisted in the creation of “R/B Fridays” for 98.7 Kiss FM Radio Station’s Summer Concerts at The World Trade Center, as well as co-writing their extremely popular station ID jingle “Kissing You With Our Classic Love”; performed by Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross, Gerald Levert, The O'Jays and many others. Chris and Will Brown were the sole visionaries and creators of the "Harlem Summer Stage" performances that are still being conducted every Summer in front of the Adam Clayton Powell Jr State office building on 125th Street. His early show business mentors were Honi Cole, Ralph Cooper Sr; and Bobby Shiffman of The World famous Apollo Theater; Music Icon Issac Hayes, Songwriter & Record Producer Thom Bell and Eddie Kendricks of Motown's Recording Group, The Temptations. His current projects include writing a suspense drama screenplay proposal for the Denzel Washington family, completing a video for his "I Love Harlem" song and returning to Ghana, West Africa to continue the work he did at Isaac Hayes' school "Neko Tech".
