The National Public Safety Football League (NPSFL) is a nonprofit organization composed exclusively of First Responders across the United States. Competing at an American Football Association (AFA) sanctioned semi-professional level, under NCAA-style rules, the league brings together active public civil servants - many with former college or professional playing experience - to compete in full-contact football. Established in 1998, the NPSFL promotes community engagement and positive public image by raising funds for charitable causes through competition. All participants are unpaid volunteers who play for the love of the game and to support their communities. Funded primarily through grassroots efforts and sponsorships, the league operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
