With retirement approaching, a weary parole officer tries to close out his final cases, including a convicted arsonist pushing hard for early release. When the inmate enlists his wife to get close to the officer, a tense web of temptation, guilt, and shifting loyalties forms, forcing everyone to question their motives and morality.
