William Burkert

William Burkert is an upstate New Yorker who graduated with a BFA from a Vermont Film School. To pay for his degree, William worked at a large brewery, and his wacky coworkers helped craft his many characters. He is a writer-director who has made several short films worked as an assistant director, producer, and creates interactive narrative video games on the side. He studied abroad in Montreal and has traveled all across the US on various road trips. He loves to blend comedic and serious tones, and often involves puppetry into his work.
