Story:
?WE?RE BACK? , Episode 1 the return of Purpose Over Dreams, a Docu-Series focusing on powerhouse, AZ Compass Prep. Episode 1 catches us up with the Dragons in January of 2023. After not seeing the team since April of 2022, much has changed ? the roster for one, Marquis ?Mookie? Cook is the sole returner after spending his summer acting as LeBron James in a movie called, Shooting Stars. Another change for the program is AZ Compass joined the most prestigious league in all of high school sports, the NIBC. AZ Compass Prep exploded onto the scene beating Montverde Academy and Sunrise Christian in the opening weekend of the season. For the Dragons, it was the first time in program history to beat Montverde, and by late November 2022 Compass had captured the No. 1 ranking in the country. But it is tough to stay atop the NIBC as the Dragons found out. Now after 2 losses in the NIBC, AZ Compass Prep is looking to get back to what they had early on. Still led by Head Coach Ed Gipson and Program Director Pete Kaffey, the Dragons have pressure to win it all at the Geico Nationals in April.
