Story: The Maryland Invitational Tournament, known on the basketball circuit as "MIT", is a three day, nationally ranked AAU basketball tournament for boys. Founded in 1994 by Gerrick Pinkney, the MIT has grown to he one of the most popular AAU basketball tournaments in the country. The Maryland Invitational Tournament has seen several top HS, college and pro basketball players come through its doors over a 30 year span.
