Larry Meistrich

A multi award-winning producer, Larry Meistrich has had a long and prestigious career in the entertainment industry. A founding partner of The Shooting Gallery, a major film production house in the 1990s that ushered in what became known as the independent film movement, Meistrich brought the landmark film classic Slingblade to the screen. Slingblade won the Independent Spirit Award, several major critics' awards and an Academy Award.

Among Larry's other achievements as a producer are You Can Count On Me, nominated for two Academy Awards and a Golden Globe, it also won the Humanitas Prize as well as several major film critics' awards. Meistrich was also responsible for the groundbreaking films Belly, Laws of Gravity and Hand Gun.  All told, he is directly credited with producing over 40 movies and helmed companies that have produced over 100 motion pictures.

Larry's TV experience includes Americas Most Wanted, the NBC miniseries to Danielle Steele’s Zoya and the first Fantasy Sports to air on television.
