James Gleason
James Gleason was an American actor, playwright and screenwriter known for Polly of the Follies (1922), The Broadway Melody, which he co-wrote and was the second film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture, Change of Heart. (1934) which he also co-wrote, The Clock (1945) with Judy Garland, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and Meet John Doe.
Gleason was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Here Comes Mr. Jordan.
