Anna Chavez
Anna grew up in Reno, Nevada, and holds film in the highest regard as a combination of all her favorite artistic mediums. After dabbling in several forms of art, from acting to music to crochet, Anna decided to focus her passion for creating into animation and comics. Her intrigue spawns from a clear obsession with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but her interests have since branched out into working on music videos and album covers. Anna graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in animation, and minored in Sequential Art. She directed the SCAD short film “Jupiter Cove” (2023), a music video focusing on the nuances of unstable relationships and their consequences. Anna also was art director on “Within the Crystal Hills” (2024). Her love of TMNT shows through in her work alongside Griffin “The” Hansen to create a historical marker at the birthplace of the Turtles in Dover, New Hampshire. In her work, Anna strives to combine many different elements into one cohesive style, and to pay homage to the many masters before her that continue to inspire her drawings.
